DecisionOne is committed to maintaining the technical expertise of our Customer Service Engineers (CSEs). We provide training on a broad range of system technologies, and emphasize the importance of understanding the status of our customers’ total computer operations. Six months following completion of coursework, our CSEs are surveyed to evaluate the effectiveness and applicability of our training curriculum.

DecisionOne Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) have a minimum of a technical school degree or equivalent experience and training prior to being hired by DecisionOne. Our service personnel have completed applicable OEM and/or equivalent maintenance training courses and have at least two years’ hands-on experience applicable to the equipment to be maintained.

The primary function of the Hardware Engineer is to provide service to the clients’ requests. These technicians will provide maintenance services for the deployed hardware platforms at our client locations. Oral communications and customer service skills are standard at DecisionOne.

Our ability to leverage skill sets across multiple platforms enables DecisionOne to supply to our customers a broad knowledge base and technical expertise. DecisionOne Technicians have a full training portfolio that includes a DecisionOne certification, A+, at least three hardware manufacturers’ training, and the DecisionOne Windows 95, Windows NT and Novell Server training. DecisionOne Customer Service Engineers have a minimum of a technical school degree or equivalent experience and training prior to being hired by DecisionOne.

DecisionOne has different levels of technical support. These levels of support and corresponding job titles follow a progressive sequence of job complexity and expertise. Each job has a position description and a set of job requirements to be met before a technician can advance to the next position.
